July 2026

Guide coming soon

We generate a weekly conditions guide for every spring using live data and local knowledge. Check back after the next Sunday morning update.

About San Marcos Springs

One of the oldest continuously inhabited sites in North America — humans have lived at these springs for over 12,000 years. The San Marcos Springs discharge from a collapsed cave system forming Spring Lake, managed by Texas State University's Meadows Center. Glass-bottom boat tours. The San Marcos River downstream (public) is excellent for tubing, kayaking, and snorkeling.
